In reading an article by Richard Bendis, President and CEO of Innovation America, I felt the need to compare Shasta County as a region to see how we compare with Richard Bendis article which can be found here.
Mr Bendis says, "Innovation has been and should remain the end game, since it is truly how companies are driving and sustaining growth in today's economy. Innovation is not just defined through the building of new products, it is also the creation and transformation of knowledge and new processes and services that meet at market need. It's about new ways of communicating and collaborating. Innovation truly distinguishes the leaders in today's economy."
Shasta County is on the verge of major growth in the Innovation department. Companies are seeing others in Shasta County doing their model successfully and saying, "hey I want to be part of that!" With the new Clarity Movie Studio due to start building in Stillwater Business Park in September, opens another door for our out of the box innovative thinkers. Supply and demand for innovative companies creates a need that companies in Shasta County will have to meet the demand of. We are a region that seeks opportunities and grabs them. Let's make Shasta County truly an Innovative Region. Shasta County where anything is possible!
