Small Family-Owned Winery in Redding Awarded Silver in Prestigious International Competition

Moseley Family Cellars proudly announces that they have received two silver medals at the 2012 Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Competition. 

A Silver Medal was awarded to Moseley Family Cellars’ 2007 Old Vine Zinfandel and 2007 Napa Cabernet.

The event, which took place May 16-18, had nearly 3,300 wines entered and was tasted by a 72-member panel comprised of international judges.  For 73 years, the competition has showcased the finest domestic and international vintages through a wine-tasting event that is widely considered to be one of the most prestigious in the United States.

“This is huge for a little tasting room in Redding to win these awards over thousands of competitors,” said Mimi Moseley, Marketing and Sales Director for Moseley Family Cellars.

Entries were from around the world, including Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, Germany, Greece, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, and South Africa, including some very big name wineries such as Clos Du Bois, Fetzer Vineyards, Kenwood Vineyards, Ravenswood Winery and Sutter Home Family Vineyards.
